Heathfield Youth Drama
23rd November 2019
Last night we got the opportunity to return to the Heathfield community centre for the HYD (Heathfield Youth Drama) production of Robin Hood.
This was a double feature, two separate casts , therefore, two separate performances. We set this up as a three camera shoot, left & right camera’s with a centre camera set to wide. With a total of a four hour run time, we really were pushing the batteries to their limits.
I don’t pretend to be a theatre critic, but like everyone else, I have an opinion & it was truly delightful to see so much young talent on display, really giving the performance their all.

Acting, singing & the occasional mishap, these kids dealt with it all with the assurance that some seasoned professionals would be proud of.
Stand out moment for myself, Friar Tuck’s version of Adele’s ‘Remedy’ really did give me goosebumps. Well done to all, it really was a fantastic performance.
