Pembroke Lodge, Richmond
We are able to count ourselves extremely lucky to have filmed at some of the best venues throughout the South East & in early August 2019, we got to add to that portfolio by filming at Pembroke Lodge in Surrey.
Set within the grounds of Richmond Park, this really is a little gem, boasting a beautiful rose garden & simply stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.
With the hot summer sun beating in a cloudless sky, the guests began to gather closely followed by the air of intense excitement & anticipation.
The decision to have the ceremony inside, due to the lack of shade in the courtyard, was a blessed relief for the guests as well as ourselves as temperatures outside continued to sore.
With the bride being serenaded down the aisle with their pre booked acoustic guitarist the ceremony got under way, the PA system ensuring that everyone got to hear the carefully chosen vows.
Upon its conclusion, guests made their way back outside for much needed refreshments, with the outdoor bar working overtime in the lovely relaxed atmosphere.
The children’s discovery of a wheelbarrow full of ice (to keep the beers cold) resulted in some hilarious head dunking as a unique way to cool down, much to the dismay of their parents.
Louise from Loveaboo, was on hand to make sure the official photos went smoothly & some lovely shots were arranged in the aforementioned rose garden.
Memorable speeches & a father and daughter dance rounded off a simply perfect day
