Memories help define who we are. We choose cameras to photograph & film special occasions in order to be able to relive these moments whenever we want.
These memories can date back over a lifetime, children that have now grown up & perhaps relatives that are no longer with us, makes these memories extremely precious.
Unfortunately, in that time, the methods that we use to capture these moments have changed significantly too.
It’s nothing for today’s generation to capture moments instantly with cameras on their phones without the need to develop the film, or transfer the tape to a larger & different tape in order to watch it. I wasn’t always so simple!
Most of these formats are now obsolete, confined to the annals of history & those that are still hanging around, are becoming harder & harder to find.
This has led to a large percentage of precious family memories & histories becoming trapped. Too precious to discard but impossible to view & enjoy.
This is where we come in. We can transfer most of your old formats, VHS, VHSC, Hi8, Digi8 & MiniDV tapes, as well as 8mm & 16mm Cine reels. All this is returned to you, ready to watch in a variety of different formats.
